President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded the title of Hero of Turkmenistan
Today, during the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, a solemn ceremony was held awarding President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the highest degree of distinction – the title of Hero of Turkmenistan with the presentation of the golden sign "Altyn Aý".
Speaker of the National Parliament Dunyagozel Gulmanova read out the resolution of the Mejlis on awarding the title of Hero of Turkmenistan to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
According to the document, the head of state was awarded the title Hero of Turkmenistan for his huge personal contribution to strengthening the foundations of national independence, the principles of neutrality of the country, for particularly outstanding services in the dynamic development of the state, strengthening its international authority.
