Serdar Berdimuhamedov: based on the results of the census, clarifications will be made to the plans

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in his speech at a meeting of the Khalk Maslahaty, noted that last year a general population and housing census was conducted in the country using digital technologies. Experts from the UN Population Fund praised this work.
The census results as of December 17, 2022 showed that the population of Turkmenistan is 7 million 57 thousand 841 people.
In this regard, the President expressed the opinion that, based on the results of the census, an appropriate audit should be carried out in the plans for subsequent years and clarifications should be made.
