Neutral Turkmenistan takes an active part in solving the most important international issues, especially in the field of energy security and transport connectivity.
Thus, the country's policy aimed at creating a multi-vector pipeline system opens up new directions for the supply of energy resources to world markets.
Turkmenistan actively cooperates in this regard with various states, and develops partnerships with such structures as the International Renewable Energy Agency, the International Energy Agency, the Energy Charter and the International Atomic Energy Agency, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty.
Turkmenistan is promoting the formation of North-South and West-East transport and transit and energy corridors connecting Asia and Europe.
In the next decade, Turkmenistan will turn into one of the main countries of Eurasia, through the territory of which transport and energy systems of international importance run, the head of state believes.
