Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced investments in agriculture of Turkmenistan in 2023
This year, the agricultural sector of Turkmenistan will master capital investments in the amount of 1 billion 600 million manats. This was stated by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty on Sunday.
Currently, in all farms of the country, the number of cattle is 2 million 530 thousand, the number of sheep is 20 million 88 thousand, chickens – 21 million 957 thousand and camels – 141 thousand, TDH writes.
The Head of State noted the importance of introducing the best international experience in agriculture and animal husbandry, for which it is necessary to develop relations with leading states in this field.
The President called for systematic work to increase yields and improve seed production, modernize the relevant economic activities.
