Ashgabat will hold an international scientific conference dedicated to the legacy of Avicenna


Turkmenistan will hold an international scientific conference “The legacy of universal significance of the outstanding philosopher and doctor of the East Abu Ali ibn Sina.”
The forum will take place on October 11 in Ashgabat and will be timed to the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers of Turkmenistan, which is celebrated on October 10.
The conference is aimed at developing international scientific cooperation and popularizing the legacy of Abu Ali ibn Sina, known in the West as Avicenna.
The event is organized by the country's Ministry of Health together with the Ministry of Education and the Academy of Sciences. The symposium will be held in a hybrid format with the participation of Turkmen and foreign specialists representing academia and the medical community. Deputy Prime Minister Nurmukhammet Amannepesov reported this at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday.
Symposium delegates will also join events at the international exhibition dedicated to the fields of healthcare, education and sports in Turkmenistan, which will be held from October 10 to 13 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
