A gala concert will be held in Austria in honor of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly


On October 18, the capital of Austria, Vienna, will host a gala concert dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great philosopher and poet Magtymguly Fragi.
As reported on the social networks of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Austria, the concert program, which will be held in Ehrabar Saal, one of the best music halls in Vienna, will include musical dedications to Magtymguly Fragi, works of Turkmen and Western classics.
The State Symphony Orchestra, as well as prominent cultural figures of Turkmenistan, will arrive in Vienna to participate in the concert.
It should be noted that the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) declared 2024 the “Year of the great poet and thinker of the Turkic world, Magtymguly Fragi.”
In 2024, Turkmenistan will widely celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great philosopher and poet Magtymguly. In addition to large-scale cultural events, the grand opening of a majestic monument erected in the foothills of the Kopetdag in honor of Magtymguly Fragi will take place, which will become another symbol of deep veneration by current generations of the rich creative heritage of the great Turkmen poet and thinker.
