The Turkmen Drama Theater will take part in the festival in Kazakhstan
The National Drama Theater of Turkmenistan named after Alp Arslan with the production of “Magtymguly Fragi” will take part in the I International Theater Festival “Biken”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the People’s Artist of Kazakhstan Biken Rimova.
The theatrical festival will be held in the Kazakh city of Taldykurgan from September 29 to October 4. Actors and theater troupes from Central Asian countries will come to Kazakhstan and show their best performances, el.kz reports.
The opening ceremony of the festival will take place at the Taldykurgan Drama Theater named after Biken Rimovoy. To this day, she is considered an outstanding master of the Kazakh stage; the theater and film actress made a great contribution to the formation and development of theatrical art in Kazakhstan.
The first festival, dedicated to the centennial anniversary of the actress, is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the international organization TURKSOY.
