Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan became the first person to sign a goodwill declaration for the Zero Waste project, which was initiated by his wife Emine Erdogan. Anadolu Agency reports this.
The signing ceremony took place at the Turkish House in New York. The Turkish leader signed the document on online platform

The Zero Waste project was initiated by Emine Erdoğan in 2017. It aims to take action to combat hazardous waste disposal, climate change, to establish recycling systems by municipalities, and to develop advanced reuse programs.
