The President of Turkmenistan has left for New York to attend a meeting of the UN General Assembly
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has left for New York on a working visit to attend the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
The visit of the head of Turkmenistan to the United States will last until September 20. During the visit, the President of Turkmenistan is scheduled to participate in the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, as well as in the first meeting in the format of multilateral cooperation between Central Asian countries and the United States of America C5+1.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov will also hold a number of bilateral meetings, including with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, TDH reports.
On September 5, the 78th session of the UN General Assembly opened in New York. From September 19 to 26, high-level events will be held within its framework.
