The meeting of the heads of Central Asian States has begun in Dushanbe


The 5th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States has begun in the capital of Tajikistan.
The summit is attended by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Leader of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and leader of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as the guest of honor.
The agenda of the summit includes issues of developing cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
It is expected that the heads of state will pay special attention to the expansion of partnership in fuel and energy, transport and communication and other areas.
The forum participants will also discuss issues of international and regional policy of mutual interest.
