The Turkmen fashion House will take part in the festival of folk and applied art in Uzbekistan
Turkmen fashion house SENNUR will take part in the International Festival of Folk and Applied Art "Hunarmand" in the Uzbek city of Kokand.
The event will take place on the territory of the Khudoerkhon residence in the period from September 21 to 23. The territory will be divided into different "cities", for example — the city of blacksmiths, coppersmiths, jewelers and other crafts.
It is expected that more than a thousand artisans from 60 countries will take part in the festival. They will present their works in national costumes inside tents with the symbols of the event. In addition, master classes of artisans will be organized, as well as folklore-ethnographic and theatrical productions.
The festival is aimed at developing crafts and supporting artisans, popularizing their work, sharing experiences and attracting tourists.
SENNUR Fashion House hopes that the event will become a factor in promoting and popularizing Turkmen culture, will demonstrate to guests from different countries the beauty and originality of national Turkmen outfits.
Earlier, the Turkmen fashion house SENNUR charmed the Parisian audience with its exquisite collection at Oriental Fashion Show 2023. The participants were delighted with the outfits inspired by traditional motifs and Turkmen national patterns.
