The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the meeting on preparation for Expo 2023 Doha
The Turkmen delegation headed by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan Mergen Gurdov took part in the Meeting of the international participants of Expo 2023 Doha from September 10 to 11, where the issues of preparation for this world show, which will be held in the capital of Qatar from October 2 this year to March 28, 2024 under the slogan "Green Desert, a better environment." Delegations from more than 70 participating countries were invited to the meeting. This is reported today on the CCI website.
The agenda included organizational issues related to the management of the construction site and Expo zones, health and safety issues, services that will be provided to visitors of the event, transport, logistics and communication issues, and many others.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner General of the Doha Exhibition Bader Al Dafa, Secretary General of the International Bureau of Exhibitions Dimitri Kerkenzes, Secretary General of the International Horticultural Producers Association Tim Briercliff.
During the visit, the Chairman of the CCI Mergen Gurdov held a bilateral meeting with the Commissioner General of Expo 2023 Doha Bader Al Dafa, during which the parties discussed the importance of environmental protection measures, which are given great attention by the governments of Turkmenistan and Qatar, as well as events that are planned to be held on the National Day of Turkmenistan during the Expo.
A visit to the exhibition area was also organized for the participants of the meeting to get acquainted with the progress of construction and decoration works.
