Turkmen tennis players will start at the Asian Championship in Shymkent

From September 11 to 17, the final stage of the Asian Team Tennis Championship among children under 12 is being held in the Kazakh city of Shymkent. The men's national team of Turkmenistan, which passed the qualifying round in Ashgabat in June 2023, is represented at this prestigious tournament.

The Turkmen team consisting of Nazargelda Amangeldiyev, Suleyman Hudayberdiyev and Ali Geldiyev will compete for medals with the best teams from other Asian countries. The captain of the team and the head of the delegation is Begmuhammet Mommayev.

At the group stage, the Turkmen tennis players got into group "B", where they will play with the teams of India, Chinese Taipei and Indonesia.
