The canvases of two painters from Turkmenistan will be exhibited at the exhibition of works by artists of the Turkic world in the city of Shusha. The vernissage will be held in Azerbaijan as part of the International Creative Meeting of Brush Masters from the Turkic world from September 10 to 20. TURKSOY is the organizer of the forum, the Azerbaijani press reports.

Two artists from Turkmenistan are participating in the creative event: Azat Annaev - Honored Artist of Turkmenistan, teacher of the State Academy of Arts and Allaberdi Ovezdurdyev – a young representative of the Mary painting school and a teacher of the Mary children's Art school. The artists of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and other countries also participate in the cultural event. They will present their best works at the exhibition, as well as hold master classes for young artists and meetings with colleagues.

The project participants will paint their exhibition canvases in picturesque locations of Shusha. Their paintings will "tell" about the historical, cultural, natural and urban attractions of the Azerbaijani town, which has been declared the "Cultural Capital of the Turkic world 2023".

The artists also brought several works from their collections to the Shusha exhibition. For example, Azat Annaev's watercolor paintings are more devoted to the landscapes of the Caspian Sea, the K desert and the landscapes of the Kopetdag foothills, but Allaberda Ovezdurdyev's colorful and bright canvases reflect rural life and everyday life of ordinary people.
