Turkmenistan and Pakistan intend to implement infrastructure projects


Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov met with the Federal Minister of Trade and Industrial Production of Pakistan Dr. Gohar Ejaz in Islamabad on Thursday, the Associated Press of Pakistan reports.
The implementation of mutually beneficial infrastructure projects – the construction of gas pipelines, the laying of railways and trade routes, the activation of transit trade became the main topics of negotiations.
The Turkmen diplomat, noting the great potential of bilateral cooperation, invited Pakistani companies to participate in the Arkadag city construction project. He noted the prospects for the export of construction materials and equipment from Pakistan.
The parties also called the economic sphere promising for bilateral partnership and regional cooperation. "Opening trade routes and expanding business ties is our top priority," the Pakistani minister said.
