Turkmenistan is represented at the 10th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China Parahat Durdyev is taking part in the 10th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum, which opened today in the city of Xiamen, Fujian Province in eastern China.
Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the participants.
The two-day forum was organized by the SCO China Committee for Good Neighborhood, Friendship and Cooperation, as well as the People's Government of Fujian Province. It will provide a platform for representatives of China and Central Asian countries to discuss the progress made over the years of establishing diplomatic relations and consider ways for further interaction.
The event includes four sub-forums - the Women's Development Forum "China - Central Asia", in which the head of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan Akjemal Durdyeva spoke, the Forum on the Development of the Digital Economy, the Forum on Sister Cities Cooperation and Humanitarian Exchanges, and the Forum on Development of Land-Sea Connectivity and Industrial Corporation.
Representatives of the delegation from Turkmenistan also took part in them. Initiatives have been taken for women's development.
