WHO conducted a course on health education classes at schools of Turkmenistan


A seminar on conducting health education classes at secondary schools of Turkmenistan was held at the UN Building in Ashgabat.
The training course, organized by the WHO Country Office in Turkmenistan, was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Ministry of Education, the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the country, professors and young teachers of the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after M. Garryev. The event was also held with the participation of instructors to conduct sanitary education classes in Ashgabat and the regions.
Thus, the participants became familiar with the WHO guidelines for educating children in the field of vaccinations and leading an active and healthy lifestyle. They also discussed organizational issues related to conducting health education classes.
The training course was conducted via video link by experts from the WHO Regional Office for Europe.
