The Asian Tennis Championship among juniors under 14 started in Cambodia, where the Turkmen athlete Ilima Huseynova is represented. She successfully passed the first round of the ITF Asian Junior Championship by defeating her Indian rival Suryanshi Shekhawat.

Ilima Huseynova is one of the 24 best tennis players from Asia and Oceania who are fighting for the title of Asian champion. She trains at the Ashgabat Tennis Academy under the guidance of Mirali Hasanov and currently ranks 13th in the Asian ranking among juniors under 14 years old.

The Asian Championship will continue until September 9. The Turkmen athlete intends to continue her performance at a high level and achieve high results.
