The Turkmen team took the second place at the mini-football tournament among diplomatic missions in Dushanbe
A mini-football tournament for the Cup of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe from September 1 to 6, dedicated to the Independence Day of the country, which is celebrated on September 9. This is reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The sports competition was attended by teams from the diplomatic missions of Iran, Russia, Turkey, the United States and some international organizations, as well as a joint team of the embassies of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. In addition, the team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan performed at the tournament.
Following the results of the tournament, the first place and the Foreign Ministry Cup were won by the host of the tournament - the team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. The second place and the honorary diploma went to the team of diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. The third place and the diploma were taken by the team of the Embassy of the Russian Federation.
The awards were presented to the winners and prize-winners by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sodik Imomi. He congratulated all participants of the tournament on the upcoming Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan and thanked them for the sports spirit and friendly atmosphere.
