A new judge of the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan has been appointed

Tavus Handurdieva, who previously held the position of judge of the Babadayhan District Court of the Ahal region of Turkmenistan, was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan on Wednesday.

The corresponding decree was signed by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a meeting of the State Security Council.

Also, in accordance with the decree, new chairmen and judges of city, regional and district courts were appointed, including the court of the city of Arkadag and its districts.

The Supreme Court is the highest judicial body of Turkmenistan and oversees the consideration of civil, arbitration, administrative and criminal cases.
