The Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan accepted the credentials of the Ambassador of New Zealand


The Chairman of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, received credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of New Zealand to Turkmenistan, Sarah Mary Walsh, on Wednesday.
On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Speaker of the National Parliament congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to a responsible post and wished her success in this field.
Sarah Mary Walsh conveyed greetings to the Head of Turkmenistan from the Governor-General of New Zealand, Mrs. Cindy Kiro and stressed that it was a great honor for her to represent her country in neutral Turkmenistan, which is implementing a strategy of broad constructive cooperation in the international arena that meets the goals of universal peace and prosperity. This was reported in the evening news of the Turkmen State Television.
During the exchange of views on topical issues of cooperation, the Envoy confirmed New Zealand's interest in strengthening constructive cooperation with Turkmenistan both in the bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations.
Sarah Mary Walsh assured that she would do everything possible to contribute to the further progressive development of the interstate dialogue that meets the interests of the two countries and peoples.
