Islamabad discussed implementation of energy projects between Turkmenistan and Pakistan


Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Atajan Movlamov, met in Islamabad with Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Jalil Abbas Jilani.
The Turkmen diplomat congratulated the interlocutor on taking office, and then proceeded to discuss the current level of bilateral relations. The parties reviewed the implementation of important joint energy projects in more detail.
The Pakistani minister, in turn, highly appreciated the foreign policy strategy pursued by Turkmenistan, as well as the state of bilateral relations. He noted that joint projects such as TAPI and TAP are very important for Pakistan.
The parties also expressed their readiness to further strengthen ties in various areas of mutual interest, the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
