President: investments should help reduce the dependence of the Turkmen economy on the fuel and energy complex
Based on the legislation, it is necessary to maintain Turkmenistan's high investment level for the further dynamic development of the country's economy, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said at the meeting with the deputies of Mejlis of the VI convocation on Friday, March 30, information program “Vatan” of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Committee informs. Investments should help reduce the dependence of the national economy on the fuel and energy complex and should establish the processing enterprises, as well as develop the small and medium-sized businesses in the country, the Turkmen leader emphasized. Moreover, banking control should be modernized, the range of banking services should be expanded, as well as the reliability of bank guarantees should be enhanced, added Berdimuhamedov. The adoption of normative acts that regulate these processes will lead to the maintenance and strengthening of the stability of the national currency, the president stressed.
