A festival of aviation, cosmonautics and technology was held in Turkey
This year, on the centenary of the Republic of Turkey, the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival TEKNOFEST–2023 was held in three cities simultaneously – in Istanbul, Izmir and the Turkish capital.
The festival, which unfolded on the territory of the Etymesgut airport in Ankara on August 30, completed its work today, September 3. More than 125 participants, including ministries, government departments and private companies, demonstrated their technological capabilities with great success in Ankara.
The program was very rich and was accompanied by stage performances and concerts. The guests of the festival did not miss the opportunity to visit a playground decorated in a space style, watch the sun, test themselves on simulators, "fly" in a wind tunnel and expand their knowledge at educational seminars.
But the main attention of visitors was focused on the airshow with the participation of aerobatics group .
There were slightly fewer festival participants at the Ataturk airport in Istanbul, but the program is no less interesting than in Ankara. More than a hundred competitions in various categories and over forty contests on topics related to startups in the field of modern aviation, astronautics and high technologies were held in the second most important city of Turkey.
More than a million participants and more than 333 thousand teams applied to participate in the technological competitions held within the framework of the TEKNOFEST-2023 festival.
The TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival is organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the country.
