Rashid Meredov and Bertrand Buchswalter discussed the prospects of Turkmen-French cooperation in Paris


On September 4, the official delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov, began a visit to France.
On Monday, the head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry held talks with Bertrand Buchswalter, the diplomatic adviser to the President of the French Republic on Continental Europe, Turkey and the Balkans. At the beginning of the meeting, Rashid Meredov conveyed greetings from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to his colleague Emmanuel Macron.
The intensification of the Turkmen-French partnership in a wide range of areas in the bilateral format, as well as within the framework of international structures, became the main topic of negotiations. The sides exchanged views on expanding cooperation in the political and diplomatic sphere, economic cooperation, science, education and culture.
