Ambassador Alonso said goodbye to Turkmenistan: "I hope for the opportunity to return here in the future"
Diego Ruiz Alonso, who completed his diplomatic mission as the EU Ambassador to Turkmenistan after four years of fruitful work, published a message on the page of the EU delegation in Ashgabat.
The diplomat noted that during this period it was a great honor for him to witness and contribute to the significant development of relations between the European Union and Turkmenistan in various fields.
"I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the friendly people of Turkmenistan for their hospitality and generosity. It has been an honor for me to live and work in this wonderful country, and I hope for the opportunity to return here in the future," Alonso wrote.
"Saying goodbye to Turkmenistan, I take with me bright memories and confidence that the European Union and Turkmenistan will continue fruitful cooperation, achieving even greater success in the coming years," the ambassador added.
