Turkmen painters participate in the exhibition of artists of the Turkic world in Hungary


An exhibition of works by artists from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey will open on September 2 in the Hungarian city of Lakitelek as part of the "Meeting of Artists of the Turkic World" project. This was announced in Budapest at a press conference in the National Assembly of Hungary by Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev, the organization's website says.
The “Meeting of Artists of the Turkic World” takes place in Hungary from August 25 to September 3 and is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Hungarian poet Sandor Petofi. The organizers of the creative action are the TURKSOY International Organization and the Hungarian Lakitelek Foundation.
11 painters from Turkic countries are participating in the project. Turkmenistan is represented by two painters - Abdylla Mammetberdiev and Ishanguly Ishanguliyev, who are members of the Union of Artists of the country. Together with other masters of the brush, they painted in the creative camp Lakitelek. The plot of the works is based on the motives of the poems of Sandor Petofi.
