The “Meeting of Artists of the Turkic World” takes place in Hungary from August 25 to September 3 and is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Hungarian poet Sandor Petofi. The organizers of the creative action are the TURKSOY International Organization and the Hungarian Lakitelek Foundation.

11 painters from Turkic countries are participating in the project. Turkmenistan is represented by two painters - Abdylla Mammetberdiev and Ishanguly Ishanguliyev, who are members of the Union of Artists of the country. Together with other masters of the brush, they painted in the creative camp Lakitelek. The plot of the works is based on the motives of the poems of Sandor Petofi.
