“Ships of this class have not been built in Russia for more than 60 years. When creating the liner “Pyotr Veliky”, Astrakhan shipbuilders mastered a new direction in shipbuilding. This will allow our region to accept orders for similar works. We are ready to provide support for the continuation of the project and serial construction, including for our partners from the Caspian states,” Igor Babushkin said.

The “Pyotr Veliky” liner was built at the “Lotos” shipyard for the operator “Mosturflot”.On board the ship, passengers will be able to use restaurants, spas, gyms, a swimming pool and a sauna. In total, the "floating hotel" has 155 cabins, accommodating 310 people. 90 employees will serve tourists. Until the end of the year, the vessel will be tested on rivers and at sea.
