Turkmenistan and Brazil are ready to support each other in the elections to the UN institutions
Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN Aksoltan Atayeva met with her colleague, Permanent Representative of Brazil to the UN Sergio Francia Danes.
During the meeting, which took place at the Turkmen mission to the UN in New York, the prospects for cooperation between the two states, as well as their interaction on the platform of international organizations, in particular the Community of Nations, were discussed.
Options for parity support were considered as part of the upcoming elections to UN agencies. In addition, the parties discussed the possibility of organizing political consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan and Brazil in early 2024, according to the page of the Turkmen permanent mission on Friday.
The diplomats expressed their readiness to continue the tradition of mutual support for initiatives that are of particular interest to both countries, and also confirmed their intention to actively cooperate to achieve mutual priorities and further deepen the multilateral partnership between Turkmenistan and Brazil.
