Two bulk carriers will be built at the Balkan shipyard

The Balkan Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant will build two dry cargo vessels for the Agency of Sea and River Transport Türkmendeñizderýaýollary. The decree was signed by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting on Thursday.
The vessels will be built by domestic specialists to modernize the material and technical base of the national fleet of Turkmenistan, the resolution notes.
Bulk carriers play an important role in world trade and the economy, as they provide efficient and inexpensive transportation of various cargoes by sea. They are capable of transporting various types of cargo that do not require special storage conditions.
