The date of acceptance of applications for study in Russian universities for citizens of Turkmenistan has become known
On September 1, the acceptance of applications for studying in Russian universities of foreigners, including Turkmen citizens, within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation for the 2024-2025 academic year begins. This is reported by the Telegram channel "Russian House in Ashgabat".

It is necessary to fill out the questionnaire by attaching a photo, scanned copies of a foreign passport, a document on education and send the completed questionnaire through the portal, transferring the electronic application to the state "for checking the RFI (Russian foreign institution, that is, Rossotrudnichestvo - ed.)".
Yulia Zaitseva, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan, told ORIENT that the number of quota places and the reception plan will be determined by September 15.
Regarding the selection of candidates in the countries, it is necessary to contact the representative offices of Rossotrudnichestvo abroad or the diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation.

In addition, from mid-September, meetings for potential applicants will be held at the Russian House in Ashgabat, during which they will get acquainted with the possibilities of studying in Russia, admission conditions and will be able to get answers to their questions.
Documents will be accepted until November 1.
It should be noted that in the 2023-2024 academic year 250 Turkmen citizens received the opportunity to study for free in Russia.
