Turkmenistan will take part in the forum of rectors of Central Asian countries in Dushanbe
The second forum of rectors of higher professional educational institutions of Central Asian countries will be held in Dushanbe on September 14. The ministers of education of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the rectors of higher professional educational institutions of Central Asia will gather in Tajikistan to participate in the congress. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Forum of Rectors will take place within the framework of the V Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, which will be held in Dushanbe on September 13-15.
Cooperation between the Central Asian countries in the field of education and science will be one of the main topics of the conference. Delegates will also consider increasing faculty and student exchange programs.
The first forum of rectors was held in 2022 in Kazakhstan at the Al-Farabi National University. More than 130 representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and international organizations took part in its work.
