Foreign diplomats in Bishkek were awarded commemorative medals


The ceremony of awarding commemorative medals to the heads of diplomatic missions of foreign states in Kyrgyzstan took place as part of the celebration of the 95th anniversary of the outstanding Kyrgyz writer, diplomat and statesman Chingiz Aitmatov, the official telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The foreign ambassadors were awarded for their contribution to the expansion of cultural dialogue and the strengthening of friendly relations between the countries. Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Moldogaziev, who participated in the event, cited the example of Aitmatov's diplomatic mission, to which he devoted twenty years, emphasizing the importance of diplomacy in the world community.
The organizers of the action were the Foreign Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the public association "International Issyk-Kul Forum named after Chingiz Aitmatov".
