The delegation of Turkmenistan participates in the Global Youth Summit in Kazan


The Turkmen delegation is taking part in the Kazan Global Youth Summit, which will be held in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation from August 28 to 30.
This year, the summit is dedicated to the role of traditional values in the upbringing of children and youth in the modern world, the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Kazan told ORIENT.
The summit brought together ministers, heads and employees of departments for youth affairs from 30 countries, including Libya, Senegal, Lebanon, Iran, Cameroon, Tajikistan, Somalia and others.

The event is also attended by representatives of the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH), the International Research Centre For Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA)
Separate sessions are also held at the summit, where participants share best practices in the field of developing the values of a strong family, ongoing learning, protecting the individual, respecting and understanding each other, friendship between peoples and national identity.
As a result of the event, it is planned to adopt a joint resolution and action plan that will help in the implementation of joint children's and youth initiatives in the countries of the Islamic world.
