Consul General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul officially takes office
The Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey (Istanbul) Muhammetnur Ovezov presented a consular patent to Director of the General Directorate of the Consular Service of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Nurdan Erpulat Altintash.
“During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the development of mutually beneficial political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey,” the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a statement on this matter.
The diplomats exchanged assurances that they would make every effort to deepen and expand ties between the two fraternal states.
Previously, Muhammetnur Ovezov served as Consul of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the city of Aktau. In his new post, he replaced Myratgeldy Seyitmammedov, who was appointed ambassador to Qatar.
