Concert-presentation of the musical collection of works by Nury Halmamedov to take place in autumn in Moscow

The concert-presentation of the musical collection of works by Nury Halmamedov for soprano and piano will take place this autumn in the Russian capital as part of the VII Moscow International Festival of Arts “Sounds of the Dutar”, which is named after the great Turkmen composer.
As a preview of this musical premiere, a collection of selected vocal works by Halmamedov was presented during the 1st International Forum of Composers of the Caspian Countries in Astrakhan these days.

The publication was prepared with the support of the Organizing Committee of the Sounds of the Dutar Arts Festival in honor of the composer's 85th birthday and includes romances by Nury Halmamedov edited by opera singer Daria Huseynova.
In this work, the singer decided to share the results of her many years of experience. She began performing the works of the great Turkmen composer in 2014, and since then her repertoire has included various works by Halmamedov. Numerous performances on the stages of theaters and concert venues in Russia, Europe and America allowed the artist to accumulate precious material, which the singer would like to share with her colleagues in the profession, who wish to replenish their repertoire with the works of the brilliant composer.

The collection also included the vocal cycle "Unheard Songs of the Children of Hiroshima and Nagasaki", the work on which became a significant milestone for the singer and inspired her to write a scientific work. The performance version presented in the book was the result of the practical implementation of the artistic and creative project of her dissertation “The problem of interpreting the theme of childhood in vocal cycles” (on the example of Nury Halmamedov’s vocal cycle “Unheard Songs of the Children of Hiroshima and Nagasaki”).
Illustrations by Daria Huseynova were used in the design of the collection.
