TV quiz in honor of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi to be held in Astrakhan


In 2024, the world community will widely celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi. Cultural, creative and scientific events in honor of this event will also be held in Russia. One of the places where the memory of the poet is honored is the Astrakhan region - a number of actions dedicated to the creativity and spiritual heritage of Magtymguly are planned to be held here.
This topic became one of the main ones during the working meeting between the Consul of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan Nury Golliev and the Minister of Foreign Relations of the Astrakhan region Vladimir Golovkov. The Russian official said that within the framework of the anniversary year, an interdepartmental round table “The spiritual heritage of the great Turkmen poet, thinker and educator Magtymguly Fragi”. History and Modernity" will be held at the regional museum of local lore.
And literary and musical evenings and poetry meetings will be held in three locations of Astrakhan at once - in the regional scientific library named after N.K. Krupskaya, the regional scientific and methodological center of folk culture, as well as the Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishchev (ASU).

Recall that in Astrakhan there is a monument to Magtymguly Fragi, and in the village of Funtovo, Privolzhsky district, there is a school named after him. The educational institution was built on the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan.
