The dog Surfing Championship took place in the USA
California hosted a unique World Dog Surfing Championship in 2023, which involved different breeds of dogs, from small to large.
They demonstrated their skills in conquering waves on the boards, both by themselves and in pairs with their owners or other dogs. The jury evaluated not only the time spent in the water, but also the technique and style of the surfer dogs.
The championship was not only spectacular, but also charitable. The organizers raised money to support dogs, the environment and surfing.
Among the winners and runners-up were Faith, a pit bull who won in the big dog category, Cherie, a French bulldog who became the best in the medium dog category, and Carson, a terrier who shared first place with Delila in the small dog category. Carson also won the title of best surfer dog.
