“Türkmenaragatnaşyk” and Korean LS Cable & System are interested in joint projects
Representatives of the “Türkmenaragatnaşyk” of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Turkmen Cabinet of Ministers held talks with the leadership of the South Korean company LS Cable & System, during which they discussed the implementation of joint projects, the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea reports.
Joint projects in the field of information and communication technologies, as well as the direct work of a Korean company in Turkmenistan, also became the subjects of an online dialogue. The parties paid special attention to projects that are being implemented as part of the construction of the "smart" city of Arkadag, fully based on advanced infrared and "green" technologies.
Korean LS Cable & System is the largest company in the Republic of Korea in the production of telecommunication cables, systems, integrated modules, as well as related materials used in the communication industry. The company operates nine large factories throughout the country and the same number abroad, and numerous branches located in Asia, Europe and America.
For more than 60 years, LS Cable & System has been working to improve the communication infrastructure, having achieved significant progress: hundreds of companies use equipment and materials from the South Korean manufacturer, thanks to which national telecom operators around the world have access to modern cables and modules.
