Ashgabat to host Week of Ukrainian Cinema


On August 24, the grand opening of the Week of Ukrainian Cinema will take place at the Ashgabat cinema in the capital. This was reported to an ORIENT correspondent at the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkmenistan.
For six days at the Ashgabat cinema, residents and guests of the capital will have the opportunity to watch the work of Ukrainian filmmakers, as well as plunge into the atmosphere of the film industry of this country.
On August 24, residents and guests of the Turkmen capital will be able to watch the film "Wedding Heritage". A full-length documentary tells about wedding customs and rituals from different parts of Ukraine.
On August 26, viewers will see a fantastic film about the adventures of a boy and a superhero dog "Foxster and Max". On August 29, the family comedy "The Adventures of S Nikolai" will be shown, and the week will close on August 31 with the film "Infernal Banner, or Cossack Christmas".
All films will be screened with original audio and English subtitles.
The week of Ukrainian cinema, organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Culture of the country, will last until August 31 inclusive.
Admission to all film screenings is free.
