Dzhaparov's successful debut and Mammiev's masterpiece goal: "Akhal" defeated "Kopetdag"
As part of the thirteenth round of the Turkmenistan football championship, the capital's "Kopetdag" hosted the champion of the country "Ahal" at the stadium of the same name. In this match, the team of the Main Department "Turkmennebitonumleri" confirmed the status of the favorite and won a confident victory with a score of 3:1.
From the first minutes of the meeting, the guests showed a decent game. Despite the fact that the difference in class was noticeable, the capital team managed to hold back the starting pressure, occasionally getting out to the opponents' half of the field.

The champions had several chances to excel again, but the luck accompanying the “Kopetdag” players did not allow this to happen.
One-on-one exits, dangerous attacks, hits on target - all this is the result of the hard work of the coaching staff and the “Ahal” players themselves, but the score on the scoreboard at the end of the first half remained - 2:0.
Surprisingly, "Akhal" in the first ten minutes of the second segment looked like a team that let off steam. Everything that worked out in the first half of the match disappeared somewhere, and the hosts were already leading the game and creating a lot of problems for the middle and back lines of the “Akhal” team.
Here, the newly minted goalkeeper of “Ahal” Rakhat Dzhaparov, who joined the camp of champions in the summer off-season from the Kyrgyz club “Abdysh-Ata”, had to enter the game, and today played his debut match. In Kyrgyzstan, he won two national trophies and was recognized as the best KPL goalkeeper of the 2022 season.
Dzhaparov is inclined not only to save, but to do it spectacularly. But the main word here is "save" - he rescued "Ahal" several times after the blows of the players of "Kopetdag".
— Of course, I went to the debut match with a fighting spirit, in the hope that today we will be able to win. I think that we played not bad, but we have room to improve. We try to be stronger with every game and practice. The opponent had a couple of chances, but we didn't let them score. We worked well in defense and deservedly won, - Rakhat Dzhaparov said after the match.
Only once did an experienced goalkeeper fail to rescue his team. At the 71st minute, the defense of "Ahal" fouled on the player of "Kopetdag". The referee pointed to the dot. Shamamed Khydyrov coped with his task.
The intrigue in the match instantly came to life,however, the guests leveled the situation on the field and again began to threaten the gates of the capital team. Ata Geldiyev's team has occupied the home team's box.
Promising footballer Begench Mammiev dotted all the i's in the 90th minute. The player broke through on the left flank, passing around the “Kopetdag” players on the way, like chips during a training session, and once inside the penalty area, he powerfully hit the ball. The goalkeeper of the capital club could only watch how the ball crosses the goal line.
The final score is 3:1, and "Ahal" wins the second victory in a row, rising to the seventh line of the standings.
"Kopetdag", on the contrary, suffers the third defeat in a row, and the coaching staff of the club needs to carefully consider the quality of the game of their wards, so as not to be at the bottom of the standings. Now the club from Ashgabat is in fourth place.
