Kyrgyz companies will be able to trade on Alibaba Group's electronic platforms

Kyrgyz entrepreneurs will be able to promote their products on the Chinese market through Alibaba trading platforms. This was agreed by the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic and Alibaba Group, signing a memorandum on Monday, Kabar reports with reference to the press service of the NIA.

Kyrgyz goods will be placed on Alibaba's global virtual marketplace. The parties also considered the possibility of Alibaba Group investing in the construction of bonded warehouses in Kyrgyzstan - a special economic zone to which online stores can import goods from abroad and store it under customs control, but without customs clearance, VAT, excise taxes and customs duties, without licensing and quotas for the storage period up to purchases by buyers.
Representatives of Alibaba Group noted that they are ready to support Kyrgyz exporters in entering their electronic trading platform and conduct special trainings for them.
