Children from Turkmenistan are expected at the CIS School Sports Festival in St. Petersburg


The International School Sports Festival among the CIS member states will be held from November 15 to 20 in St. Petersburg. This was reported by TASS, referring to the Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Alexey Morozov.
"We expect about 400 schoolchildren from Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to participate in the festival, which will be held in St. Petersburg from November 15 to 20," Morozov said. - Competitions will be held in popular sports among schoolchildren, such as badminton, 3x3 basketball, volleyball, mini-football, table tennis and chess.
The International School Sports Festival among the CIS countries has been held in different regions of Russia since 2013. Last year the competitions were held in Ufa.
