Young Turkmen citizens will become participants of the International Children's Cultural Forum in Moscow
They will be among the other 2 thousand children who will gather in the Russian capital for the II International Children's Cultural Forum. The event starts on August 10 and will run until the 12th.
Participants will be children from 13 foreign countries - Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bolivia, Egypt, India, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Palestine, Turkmenistan, as well as children from 89 regions of the Russian Federation. "All of them are engaged in art and plan to associate their whole lives with art, and are ready to communicate," Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova said at a press conference, RIA Novosti reports.
About 140 events will be held on the sidelines of the forum for children. "These are master classes, these are dialogues with iconic cultural figures, these are lectures, seminars… Excursions are also waiting for participants. They will go to the Pushkin Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Music Museum, the Great Moscow Circus, the ASIC, Zaryadye, VDNH, and Mosfilm – such iconic spaces," the minister said.
This year's forum will be held in seven creative areas – "Musical Art", Theater and Circus art, "Literature and Journalism", "Choreographic Art", "Production", "Museums and Fine Arts", as well as "Cinema and Animation". The curators of the sections will be people's and honored artists and other well-known figures of the Russian Federation in the field of culture.
