Turkmen specialists took part in the conference on anti-doping education


Specialists of the National Anti-Doping Agency of Turkmenistan (NADAT) took part in the international online session "Territory of anti-doping education".
The event, which was held in a videoconference format, was organized by the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA). It was also attended by representatives of anti-doping organizations of Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
The participants of the online session shared their experience in building specialized educational processes and strategies in their countries, and also discussed problematic issues and the main trends in the field of anti-doping activities.
During the session, it was proposed to create a common database of scientific articles and consider the prospect of forming their own interethnic community for regular communication, mutual support, exchange of opinions, dissemination of information, reports TASS with reference to the press service of RUSADA
The Law of Turkmenistan "On Combating doping in Sports" came into force in June 2017, and the National Anti-Doping Agency was established on its basis. In 2019, NADAT and RUSADA signed a protocol of intent on cooperation in Ashgabat.
