UNICEF to hold a workshop for the Turkmen media on effective health communication


The UNICEF office in Turkmenistan is organizing a seminar for local journalists from television, print and online media on the effective dissemination of information about healthcare, the press service of the organization's office in Ashgabat reports.
The training will be held as part of the World Bank-funded project on response to COVID-19 in Turkmenistan with the participation of UNICEF international expert Akim Mogadzhi.
At the workshop, media professionals will learn how to use innovative media, apply storytelling and multi-platform narration, and explore examples of innovative approaches to reporting on the topic of healthcare from Asia, Europe and Africa.
The training will take place from 16 to 18 August.
