An information center was opened on the territory of the Dashoguz-Shavat checkpoint for tourists from Turkmenistan wishing to visit Uzbekistan according to the website of the Association of Tourist Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In the center you can get all the necessary information before visiting Uzbekistan, including the procedure for staying in the country, cultural, entertainment and public events, tourist destinations, popular routes for recreation, etc.

Also, tourists can pre-book air and railway tickets, hotel rooms, purchase SIM cards and pay for Internet connection services in Uzbekistan.

Center specialists can also help guests register in the E-Mehmon (“E-guest”) system for tourists arriving in Uzbekistan.

The opening of the center became possible thanks to the agreements reached at the talks between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
