Faculty of the University of Medical Sciences of Turkey will open in Uzbekistan Academy of Nurses


The Faculty of Nursing of the University of Medical Sciences of Turkey will open in the near future at the Academy of Nurses of Uzbekistan. The decision to create a branch of the Turkish medical University was approved by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reports Podrobno.uz.
The Academy of Nurses will be established on the basis of the Chilanzar College of Public Health named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, according to the decree signed by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on June 20. The educational institution will open its doors to students in the 2023/2024 academic year, the report says.
Turkish specialists and professors will take entrance exams at the new faculty. They will also teach. The curriculum in the direction of "Medical Management" (bachelor's degree) is designed for 4 years. Internships in clinics in Turkey are also provided for students of the Academy, where they will be able to master advanced foreign medical experience.
The University of Medical Sciences of Turkey is a higher educational institution founded in 1903, and is the only specialized medical university in the country, as well as one of the leading universities in Europe with a high international rating.
