The Turkmen athlete took bronze in the weightlifting tournament of the II Games of the CIS countries


Turkmen weightlifter Sangiza Bagtyyarova was awarded a bronze medal at the II Games of the CIS countries.
The weightlifter won the bronze medal award in the weight category over 87 kg . According to the results of two disciplines, Bagtyyarova showed a result of 196 kg (86+110), losing the first place to Tursuna Jabborova from Uzbekistan, who took a total weight of 240 kg (110+130). In the second position was the representative of Belarus Margarita Leshchenko - 148 kg (90 + 115).
Earlier, weightlifters Yulduz Jumabayeva and Ali Babamuradov brought silver medals to the treasury of the Turkmen national team.

The II Games of the CIS countries are held in Belarus from August 4 to 14 in 20 sports. More than 2.2 thousand athletes representing more than 20 countries take part in them. The closing ceremony will be held on August 13 at the Minsk Arena.
The medal standings are headed by the Russians - 125 (59, 43, 23), the Belarusian team has 94 awards (24, 24, 46), the national team of Uzbekistan is in third place - 38 (8, 13, 17).
