Turkmen opera singer to perform at the opening of the Caspian Seasons festival in Astrakhan


Laureate of the “Türkmeniň Altyn Asyry” award Leyli Okdirova will perform at the grand opening of the Caspian Seasons international festival of classical art, which will be held from August 22 to September 6 in the Russian city of Astrakhan.
Russian opera singer Ildar Abdrazakov, People's Artist of Azerbaijan Elchin Azizov, Iranian composer Mehdi Hosseini and other famous musicians will also perform at the ceremony.
Governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin invited residents and guests of Astrakhan to take part in the festival in his Telegram channel.
“Caspian Seasons is an example of friendship and cooperation between countries where the culture and national traditions of all peoples are respected. It is a great honor for our region to hold the festival for the third time on our land,” Babushkin wrote.
The opening of the event will take place on August 22 at the Cathedral Square of the Astrakhan Kremlin, where large-scale work is currently underway to mount the stage, install LED screens and sound equipment. As the organizers promise, the festival will be "an incredible multimedia performance."
